The EU-Indonesia Business Network (EIBN) is a project co-funded by the EU and launched in August 2013. The overall objective of EIBN is to increase exports and investments of the European Union to Indonesia in particular by Small-, and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) as well as strengthening the EU business sector in Indonesia. EIBN is currently looking for a talented and enthusiastic intern to join our team in Jakarta for a 5 months internship period. Starting in August 2018 or any earlier if needed. The internship is compensated and depending on any suitability and the possibility of employment. The internship may be extended to the maximum of 6 months.


Supporting the EIBN in research projects, writing and coordinating market studies, sector reports, and other publications such as the EIBN business guide and managing all social media accounts. Supporting the Business development team in daily activities including business support services, trade fairs and other (networking )events.

The main requirements are a very good level of English, a very high attention to detail, proactive attitude, ambition to learn and the ability to adapt quickly in an international environment as well as an open and outgoing personality.

About Us

The EU-Indonesia Business Network (EIBN) is a partnership project between five European chambers of commerce in Indonesia and two counterparts in Europe. The EIBN's aim is to promote Indonesia and ASEAN as high potential trade and investment destinations among companies from all 28 EU member states and support them in their endeavor to explore the full market potential in Indonesia. The project was initiated and is co-funded by the EU.
